- Contest participants
must be a current smoker as
of October 1, 2006. For this
contest, a smoker is defined
as someone who smokes
cigarettes on 10 or more
days in a month for at least
the past year.
- Contest participants
will agree to submit a urine
specimen before the start of
the contest to verify
tobacco use status. Please
see the
registration page for
information on when and
where to submit urine
specimens.
- Contest participants
must be a staff or faculty
member, full-time and
part-time, from University
of Minnesota, Duluth. Graduate students,
including graduate
assistants, are not eligible
as faculty or staff.
- Contest participants
must be 18 years of age or
older.
- Contest participants
must enroll with a
Smoke-free Friend. The
Smoke-free Friend must
currently be a non-smoker,
18 years of age or older,
and be willing to answer a
brief questionnaire if their
friend (the contest
participant) is chosen as a
potential winner.
